In collaboration with Intel, The Endless created an interactive, room-scale VR experience that takes participants to the edge of space. Users are able to musically improvise by tapping on the shattered moon rocks of Saturn’s asteroid belt. The result is nothing less than a space symphony.

The experience of Pale Blue Dot combines scientific inquiry with cosmic wonder. In order to achieve this, we challenged ourselves to bring viewers into a relationship with the solar system instead of merely being a passive observer. Through the use of sound design, VFX and an original score, we transposed the plasma waves of Saturn’s asteroids into an improvisational VR experience. This crossover of playful imagination with science-based storytelling allows users to have an experience beyond the humanly possible.
