FEATHER LITE: FALL 2021
Our latest collaboration with Moose Knuckles highlights the fashion label’s lightest jacket ever: The MK Feather Lite.
Directed by Jason Nocito, the series of surrealist short videos merge live-action filmmaking with stylized character animation.
We worked with the Moose Knuckles creative team on a playful concept that honors the MK brand identity while showcasing the unique, feather-filled design of their newest jacket line.
To actualize the idea of a jacket-bird, we first scanned and modeled a Feather Lite jacket into a photorealistic 3D rendering.
Our VFX team then rigged the jacket with the movements and cadence of a bird’s wings, simulating its flaps, soars, and deformation in the wind.
The hero jacket-bird flies in front of the actors’ binoculars, as a flock of other (tired and retired) birds circle lazily in the background.
The final composited shot blends the live-action video with visual effects into one surreal yet coherent clip.
Moose Knuckles launched the series of short clips and campaign images across social media channels and their website, bringing curious eyes to the Feather Lite product line.
