The team was tasked with creating a photo-realistic Augmented Reality heart visualization for Digital Health Media. Ensuring the digital representation looked as close to real-world examples as possible would enable access to an accurate, educational reference tool from the convenience of a clinicians phone.

A complex array of shaders layered to capture the wet, specular look of organic material.
Using anatomical reference studies, 3D medical imaging and libraries of photo reference we catalogued the visual details that would most accurately represent the depth and complexity of the muscular organ. Every ventricle, vein and layer of tissue has been modelled, textured and rendered to create the illusion of a real heart projected onto any surface both in and out of the clinic.
