In 2016, MAC prepared to launch a new line of cosmetics and reveal the future of the brand. MAC worked with The Endless Co. to create an innovative virtual reality experience to promote their new “Future MAC” collection.

Inspired by the colors and materials that make up the Future MAC line, our visual effects team designed three different virtual environments filled with bright crystals, glass, and liquid metal graphics. We packaged the scenes into a short VR experience easy to distribute at scale.

MAC shipped the VR experience to 30+ markets around North America, where it was installed at stores as an entertaining new component of the retail experience. Viewers explored the abstract worlds and immersed themselves in the beautiful future of MAC and cosmetics at-large.
