PGIM
INDUSTRY: FINANCIAL SERVICES
REQUEST: PGIM, the investment arm of Prudential Financial, commissioned The Endless Co. with building an Augmented Reality experience to exhibit futuristic investment areas on the floor of the Milken Institute Global Conference.
SMART CITY PRODUCT: The tabletop AR module visualizes five areas that PGIM imagines will define the cities of the future: warehouse automation, lithium mining for solar energy, seaports in emerging markets, urban real estate development, and drone delivery systems.
AR scenes are modeled and animated with AI scripts to accurately represent the processes at an Amazon warehouse, Chilean mine, or Thai seaport.
VERIZON
INDUSTRY: GOVERNMENT + ARCHITECTURE
REQUEST: Superbright, Verizon, and Vrai Pictures partnered with The Endless Co. to build an Augmented Reality experience that engages community members on Frank Gerhy’s Los Angeles River revitalization project.
SMART CITY PRODUCT: We designed the 3D assets for an Urban Planning AR module that invites neighbors into the major design decisions that will impact their home for years to come.
SUPERCELL
INDUSTRY: ART / GAMING
REQUEST: SUPERCELL, makers of the celebrated mobile game “Clash of Clans,” worked with The Endless Co. to explore the future of urban art installations.
SMART CITY PRODUCT: The project explores the role of both physical and digital street art in the smart cities of our future. Our architectural visualization team built a photorealistic virtual neighborhood inspired by graffiti epicenters like South Side Chicago and Brooklyn. We then commissioned physical wall-scale graffiti artworks in cities like New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and captured and composited into them into the virtual city environment.
WESTERN DIGITAL
INDUSTRY: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
REQUEST: Western Digital, a global data storage provider, envisions a data-driven society in the year 2049. Autonomous vehicles fill city streets, stitched together in lightning fast webs powered by 7G networks. Together with agency partners Condé Nast Experiential, The Endless Co. pioneered a self-driving car experience to immerse riders in Western Digital’s imagined futuristic city.
SMART CITY PRODUCT: Our visual effects team created a cinematic-quality city environment — from the backseat, the rider watches as the car traverses the streets of the 2049 metropolis. Additional head’s up displays on the windows include all the car’s modules, navigation menus, and information data. Western Digital data storage technology is present at every turn, showcasing the data infrastructure needed to operate both the autonomous vehicle and the operations of the larger 7G-connected city.
